Apparently there is a hurricane named Hanna

and she has decided to visit my parents house. My parents live on a little island named Kiawah in South Carolina. My mom called tonight and told me to book two rooms at the trusty Tree City Inn here in our little town.



Cause they said that if she hits at high tide.



And she hits just right.




There could be a twenty foot storm surge.



TWENTY FOOT.



Did I mention that at my parents house on that little island is on a street named Surfsong?




Because it runs along the surf....




The main level of their house is seventeen feet above sea level.




oops. That really expensive carpet just got wet. And alligators are in the swimming pool.
